“The Journey of Self-Discovery: Meditations, Miracles, and the Guru’s Grace”

On a crisp October 11th, I set out on a journey to Nagarkot, a journey unlike any other. It wasn’t a typical holiday; it was a four-day deep dive into the world of meditation and silent fasting. Remarkably, this marked my 25th excursion into this transformative practice, and each time it unveiled a new layer of self-discovery. During this profound sojourn, a realization was born within me, one I feel compelled to share with you. Describing these spiritual experiences is no easy task, but I’ll do my utmost to convey the depth of my emotions.

Our minds, feelings, thoughts, intellect, and ego often defy conventional understanding. While many spiritual teachings caution against a restless mind, I’ve come to believe that a resilient, expansive mind, capable of observing and harmonizing these fluctuations, is a priceless asset.

In my life, something truly extraordinary is unfolding, something I first read about in the “Autograph of Yogi” two decades ago. Perhaps it’s the result of 27 years of continuous meditation, penance, and the blessings of my Guru that have brought me to bear witness to these remarkable events of love and joy today.

Throughout these days of silence and introspection, I’ve discovered an extraordinary ability to converse with the very essence within me. This connection hasn’t just fortified my inner strength; it’s expanded my conscious energy. It’s as though the universe has gifted us with the power to manifest our desires, a power often overlooked. It is during these moments of embracing silence that this latent potential becomes clear and ripe for harnessing.

Now, let me share a truly astonishing incident with you. After our silent retreat, my friend and I embarked on our journey back to Kathmandu. The winding roads left us both feeling rather uneasy. I suggested to my friend that we ask the driver to pull over briefly to regain our composure. Yet, we weren’t in charge of the bus, and it wasn’t our place to make such decisions. My friend, hesitatingly, advised against it. In a light-hearted jest, I mentioned that it might happen automatically, thanks to the Guru’s intervention.

Miraculously, just two minutes later, the car suffered a sudden flat tire, and the bus came to an abrupt halt. We both burst into laughter. At that moment, I realized it wasn’t my words; it was the Guru’s wisdom, utilizing my very being to channel his energy.

With profound gratitude and admiration, I reflect on the guidance and blessings of the Gurus and Saints. My heartfelt appreciation extends to Sadguru Parampujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who played a pivotal role in this miraculous realization.
